Start with what you want the business to become.

The first conversation is 45 minutes about where you want the business to go. From there, your Trusted Advisor coordinates specialist capability across Finance, People, Operations and Growth. Setup typically takes 2–4 weeks.

Our Process

Three steps to build capability into your business.

Step 1

Understand

A conversation, the Health Check, and a clear starting point.

01

Understand

We start with where you want to end up.

A 45-minute conversation about your business: how it runs, where the gaps are, and what you want it to become over the next 12 months and beyond. We don't arrive with a predetermined version of success — you might want to grow hard, hold steady, hand it on, sell, or stop being needed for every decision. We map what we hear across the four hubs and come back with a clear recommendation.

02

Diagnose

The Health Check makes it measurable.

The Business Health Check asks 16 questions across four pillars — Cash, People, Execution and Strategy — mapped to the four hubs. Each pillar is scored out of 20, the business out of 80, and every result lands in a band: needs attention, room to grow, or strong. You get the scorecard, and we both get an honest picture of where the business stands.

03

Prioritise

Start where it makes the most difference.

Not everything needs fixing at once. Your Trusted Advisor walks through the scorecard with you and identifies the highest-impact next steps. A stretched cash position might mean a 13-week cash flow forecast first. A business that can't run without you might start with a weekly leadership huddle. The order comes from your results, not a standard package.

Step 2

Set up

The capability built into your business — typically 2–4 weeks.

04

Build capability

We bring everything current.

Over 2–4 weeks, we build each hub into your business. Finance: bring books current and set up reporting. People: payroll, compliance, and contracts. Operations: IT audit and security baselines. Growth: marketing audit and CRM setup. We run the setup alongside your existing operations to minimise disruption.

Step 3

Run & improve

Ongoing work, measurement, and strategic reviews.

05

Measure

Progress you can point to.

Your Health Check scorecard is the baseline. Retake it and the movement is visible, pillar by pillar. Scheduled strategic reviews with your Trusted Advisor cover what scores can't: performance, compliance, and what's coming. Progress is measured, not assumed.

06

Improve

We run the work. You make the decisions.

Your Trusted Advisor and specialist team run the day-to-day work across your hubs. What comes to you are the decisions: what to tackle next, where to spend, when to hire, whether to grow. You choose, we carry it out, and the next review shows what changed.

The Partnership

What ongoing looks like.

Real-time visibility

Your Trusted Advisor has real-time visibility into your business across all four hubs, so advice comes from what is happening now.

Strategic reviews

A scheduled 30–60 minute conversation with your Trusted Advisor: business performance, compliance status, upcoming items, and strategic opportunities. You set the cadence.

Proactive alerts

Between reviews, your advisor contacts you when something needs attention. A compliance deadline. A cash flow concern. A security event. Fewer preventable surprises.

On-demand access

Phone, email, or messaging for questions and urgent issues. Non-urgent: next business day. Urgent: same day.

What Gets Set Up

What gets built into each hub.

The detail behind Step 2. Over the 2–4 weeks, each hub is set up to match how your business runs.

Finance

Books brought current, accounts reconciled, reporting configured, financial dashboard set up. Clear visibility into your financial position.

People

Payroll onboarded, Award classifications verified, STP configured, compliance calendar set up, employment contracts reviewed. Compliance is automatic, not a panic.

Operations

IT environment audited, security baselines implemented (ACSC Essential Eight), monitoring configured, vendor management transitioned. Secure and resilient systems.

Growth

Marketing audit completed, CRM infrastructure set up, tracking configured, lead generation framework built. Systems to drive and measure growth.
