What is NQF (National Quality Framework)?
Industry-specific compliance. A plain-English definition for Australian business owners.
The NQF is the regulatory framework for early childhood education and care providers, covering long day care, family day care, outside school hours care, and preschools.
It includes the National Quality Standard (7 quality areas), the Education and Care Services National Regulations, and an assessment and ratings process. NQF compliance is a substantial operational requirement for childcare providers.
In a connected back office this sits with the Finance hub, where Valont runs bookkeeping, managed payroll and bas & tax compliance for Australian SMEs as one team. The full definition set is on the glossary.
