FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Annual leave is typically 4 weeks per annum. For part-time employees, the calculation is based on their average weekly hours. We calculate correctly.

Long service leave is typically accrued at 1 week per 10 years of service, but rules vary by state. Some states have pro-rata cashing out rules. We apply your state's rules.

All accrued leave (annual, personal, LSL) must be paid on termination. We calculate the final leave payment accurately based on your state's rules.

Yes, if agreed. Leave without pay is recorded separately from accrued leave and doesn't reduce the employee's leave balance.

Parental leave is usually unpaid (though some employers offer paid). We track parental leave periods and ensure employees return to the same role.
